[sdiy] Clipping/Limiting output optimization

Hey all,

I'm trying to take the 2x op-amp output shown in the top half this schem:

and turn it into a 1x op-amp version.

Input is from in-circuit - most likely from another op-amp and output is to the outside world via 1K impedance.

Any problems with the second version, anyone like to offer a better version?
