I am the originator and executor of this mod, drilled and soldered it myself. "Boost" is just the best word I could think for it, doesn't super raise the volume, and doesn't flip the noise on its head either. Some nice versatility for just a single switch.

Weird little (well, it's the size of a Muff) box. Switches do strange things, sometimes nothing, all in the turns of the knobs and whatever you're pouring into it. Upon turning in on, and looking within, a red glow emanated from within - part of the built in optocompressor inside. I don't think it'll add squash, but it ought keep the feedback from howling (and not in a good way) out of control. I think. Just didn't get much use out of this because it takes some care. Not made any more either btw.

As said, this effect takes CV in. I imagine it affects the "Texture" setting, but of this I am unsure. Then again I'm unsure of most things on this stomp, it's a thing of wonder and mystery, and can be yours if the price is right.
