[sdiy] LDR optocoupler blowout

I've found that the NSL32 optocouplers have very wide variations - and, 
even from a 'proper' supply, I still get a few complete duffers.
A couple of years ago I actually spoke to the guy who, if I remember 
right, designed the product - he was working at the UK distributor and 
said the spec was 'so wide you could drive a bus through it'! My view of 
them is that they're a bit of a ball-ache compared with VTL types.

Regarding RoHS - you can get the NSL products from both RS & Farnell in 
the UK (so, presumably, other EU countries too) - a *lot* more expensive 
than the orig. link though!
