I received a reply from Sandy at Song Huei.  She very much appreciated
my detailed feedback.

She offered to send me some samples of the plastic- and metal-shaft pots
with lighter lubrication.  I think she has some alternative plastic
shafts with a better appearance too.

Regarding the backlash problem in the metal shaft she said they had some
alternative materials which might solve the problem, but that the MOQ
would be 3000.  I think backlash is a problem for all modular pots,
since the pot rotor slides on a separate shaft.

I asked her to send further samples.  I will write about them to the
list when they arrive.
