On the other hand - why would a noise generator with truly flat
spectrum be considered "good"? Nobody would prefer an oscillator or
filter completely without imperfections, and the most interesting
noise generators tend to be quite grainy-sounding or special in other
ways. :-)

"Poor quality noise" is also an interesting concept... ;-)
