$4.30 (and I just noticed the price . . . some one was being cute MSP430 =
USD4.30 ) for a complete development kit. You have to down load the software
though. I've bought 7 or 8 of these so far, as it's almost cheaper to get
this kit than it is to buy the individual processors from mouser. Along with
the processors, you get a nice development board, matching daughter board
connectors, and a USB cable.

  a.. MSP430G2553IN20 - 16kB Flash, 512B RAM, interruptible GPIOs
(capacitive sense-capable), 16-bit timers, 8ch 10-bit ADC, Comparator,
Serial Communication (USCI - I2C, SPI & UART) & more

Mouser: 595-MSP430G2533IN20 - $2.25
  a.. MSP430G2452IN20 - 8kB Flash, 256B RAM, interruptible GPIOs (capacitive
sense-capable), 16-bit timers, 8ch 10-bit ADC, Comparator, Serial
Communication (USI - I2C & SPI) & more

Mouser: 595-MSP430G2452IN20 - $1.58

Mouser has the kit also: 595-MSP-EXP430G2 - $4.60

I also just noticed they've upgrade the chips included - It may be time to
buy a couple more.
