[sdiy] Scope recommendations

Hi all,

I just received the Owon SDS7102 and wanted to share my initial observations. So far I am pleased. There was a spot of panic when looked like it had only one ADC and was multiplexing, but it turned out to be this funky triggering mode where each channel can have its own trigger level. I've never seen that before.

The manual could be written a bit better. My first attempt to save a screen capture to flash drive failed. The included probes (two) are okay. The 10M depth feature is handy, although with 8 bits it is of limited usefulness. Cannot change the color of the traces.

All in all I am pleased with my purchase, at least so far.

Sorry. It's the OWON SDS7102 100M 2CH 1GS/s. And it has a port that emits puppies and bunnies  ;-)

...and you're not going to tell us which one?
