I just realized I hadn't really introduced myself to the list.  I
subscribed about 2 months back, and have been silently lurking, reading
every e-mail, enjoying learning from everyone else's discussion! :)

I'm David, live in California, work all day writing software, then rush
home to continue my fun and expensive hobby of trying to design and
build my own synth.

I have been studying filter design recently, but switching gears to
oscillators at the moment.  I'm not as good with electronics theory as I
should be - like now I'm going through tutorials on op-amps, and
studying hard. :-)

So, thanks to everyone for all the good discussion, I hope to (someday)
be able to contribute back.
