Furthermore, they work fine for very slow waves, sine or otherwise. One of the advantages of my Owon scope over my earlier analog scope is that you can slow the scan down to LFO-speed and still see the *shape* of the whole waveform, instead of just a line going up and down. This has been very handy for debugging digital LFO and envelope projects.
