I use Hakko or Hakko clones.
The one thing to be sure of, when commiting to an iron, is that you will be 
able to get replacement tips.
True, if you treat your tip well, it will last a remarkably long time - but 
one day...

And on the subject of tips, SIZE MATTERS... so does SHAPE...
