[sdiy] "Music Synthesizers: A Manual of Design & Construction" book - is it any good?

Hi Tom,

In my opinion it's not a good book. It was at my local library in the
days before the internet. A lot of the badly drawn circuits are just
noise makers or random voltage generators. It's been over 15 years but
when I think of that book I think "bird chirp" and "steam train". I'm
pretty sure he didn't test all the circuits either.

The library also had "Build a Better Music Synthesizer" by Thomas Henry,
which was a good book but used obsolete parts like CEM and SSM chips.

Regards,
Stewart.
