I've just found out that a full batch of 2SC945 I ordered from Futurlec late 2010 turned out to be KSC945. Same component (I think), same marking "C945", but different pinout! So I thought I'd mention in case someone else is wondering why their project seems to have all dead transistors, like I was yesterday...
