[sdiy] (OT)DSPIC compiler for MPLABX-IDE on MAC OSX?

"Are you using MPLAB-X? I'm doing so right this minute, with dsPIC33 on MacOS X. The compiler download is on the main MPLAB-X download area.

i did what you said and went ahead and installed the compiler (the C30 option)

however whenever i try to start a project i get this message which doesnt look too good (although it will let me go ahead and start my project)...anyone else seen this?
