[sdiy] SSM2040 vs CEM3320 VCF IC'S...

this sounds like gear baiting to me...
I like the CEM3320. I like squeaky clean filters. I modded my ProOne to have a CEM 12db State Variable...
but later changed it back to a tapped 12db / 24db filter.
I have not owned a synth with the SEM2040. I had a rev2 Prophet V. In fact if anyone wants to see MY VERY OWN
(sdiy modified) Prophet V... just look on Wikipedia. How freaky that the one photo they chose was of my not-factory-stock
modified unit (you can see the yellow toggle switch in the bend box that selected my 120 patch mod, and the way huge oversize
heatsink on the back. Hard to see is the extra knob on the bend box to allow transposition, and the switch on the front of the
bend box that engages an automated delayed vibrato.
If it had been a Prophet VI, I'd still own it today (The Electronic Peasent can live with only five strings, I require six...)
