[sdiy] Recycling old digital synths and K5000!

K5000 have a 2x 7 band analogue EQ , peculiar!

Anyhow recently i found a Roland D20 in the dump. Fully working some keys broken
some dust that's all.Anyhow it sounds awful, some strings with the
saws are OK etc
PCM Ok to but it has a strange tone to it. Quite easy to edit sounds
but overall an
absolutely horrid editing system.

Anyhow i opened it up and found some usable parts the DAC PCM 54 and mux
board is on same PCB so one can use that for experiments, supply unit is neat
also.

Have you recycled other old digital's and found usable parts to salvage?
