It's a standard string ensemble chorus. The Casio CZ-1/3000/5000 has one too, though it's not so intense.
Like the Polysix and Poly 61, The SX210 and 240 tend to get damaged from leaking NiCd batteries.
The SX400 is a real oddball. All discrete design with transistor ladder filters...
