Very cool. It's nice to see some really original work going on over there. Those 3201 DSPs are a bit nuts and not *that* powerful, but I can see that having three of them gives you a fair amount of flexibility. It might be quite a good match for the application too ; imagine one doing distortion, followed by one doing chorus, followed by one doing echo. The system layout does rather suggest a multi-effects chain.
