Look at it this way, it's an inexpensive ARM-based single board computer
designed to run Linux (at least two distributions.)
So, it's a general purpose computer. You ain't going to make a DAW out
of it, as it's way too underpowered for that. Simple MIDI sequencer, or
MIDI debugger? Quite possibly.
What it can do is what you can make of it - but I'd start off reading up
on ALSA, as this should give you the basic capabilities.
Can't comment further as, whilst I've been watching this product for
several months, I only ordered through Element14 (Farnell/Newark/etc)
last week, when supplies were announced. Waiting for both this and a
Beagle Bone, which is probably also worthy of investigation, for similar
purposes (but costs more.)
