I may be misinterpreting the date code, but I believe 0912 is the
date, so year 09, week 12. So most likely new production. Then there's
the possibility that 0912 is indeed not the date code, but on the
other hand the inscription looks which is also a sign it's a modern
chip.

I'd be interested in knowing what exactly these clone chips are.
Someone bought a large stock of old dies? Newly produced BBD? Newly
produced equivalent digital delay line?
