Yes, the high-z ceramic cap is a very useful device.. use it as a tuned 
circuit, use it as a vibration transducer (transmitting or receiving), use 
it as a temperature or voltage detector.
Just don't use it as a capacitor.. unless you are SURE what it is doing!
