I also miss OTAs, but also stuff like LM3900.
OTAs opened up many good design opportunities when they came, but we saw
only a brief development burst that then essentially stopped. It's not
that they are particularly hard to do in the basic form, but let's see
someone do low bias, high impedance, low noise OTAs. :)
I'd be happy to use higher bandwidth OTAs as well.
