The CPU board is only 2 sided so there aren't monster heat sinking power 
planes, I only had a cheap plastic "SoldaVac" and was able to remove the 
sockets without too much trouble.

Actually Stony, one the the original engineers, released a number of 
rack units under the uLogics brand. These were essentially repackaged 
boards but used a different interface panel.
