[sdiy] Beckman Industrial 9060 'scope woes - no luck finding service manual

Sounds like you know scopes but make sure you have the triggering set
to Normal or whatever the scope has to make its horz osc is free running
and not waiting for a trigger.

In general it sounds like something in the trigger circuitry. On some
scopes changing the vert scale puts some noise/glitches that triggers
the scope.
