OK, confession time. It's not a clone but the real thing. One of the 
benefits of being a repair tech (even a part time one) is that I get a 
huge volume of gear to play with. That minipops came in for an external 
clock input several years ago. After I had done the mod I recorded about 
fifteen minutes worth of its output, at various speeds, settings and 
rhythms. The best bits were stored for posterity on my hard drive to be 
then rex'd or time stretched and filtered accordingly.
