That's why it is better to work with tools whose underlying file
representation is plain text. For example, LaTeX or any markup
language for documentation. For schematics/PCB, geda, Kicad and the
latest Eagle have text-based formats which are easy to work integrate
with revision control. For audio editing, there might be some tools
saving the overall project layout in a text-based format, but it still
won't work very well to put the audio assets themselves into revision
control, especially since git chokes with large binary files.
