"104" usually means 100K, e.g. "10" with "4" zeros after it.
So there's a discrepancy there. 47K would be "473".

I looked at the voice 1 schematic and the similar VR ("Sawtooth wave level") is VR102. The parts list gives this as 473 - a 47K.

Beyond the actual value, pretty much any trimmer would do. Some will have the pins in the wrong place. Some will be cheap and have one rotation, others expensive and have lots of turns. But they'll all do the job.
