[sdiy] Interested in changing the Paia MIDI2CV8 Firmware ?

Hi,

I have the MIDI2CV8 since a long time but haven't used it that much for some reasons. 

I would like to know if there are people interested in a modified firmware, in fact with minor changes, to make it more friendly with current midi environment. 

I intend to change two things:
1) make it "multi" by default as it's rare you want to use it like a single poly synth.
2) make it more friendly with keyboard that send note on with velocity 0 as note-off. The usual symptom being currently that the unit stays frozen until you send a pitchbend message.. If not it cannot break the loop for the transpose feature, seemingly. 

I have started to hack the code and tried already some modded firmwares and so far mostly achieved the first goal (albeit there is a little issue i need to fix).

But for the second part i am afraid i don't understand everything yet and would be happy if someone more knowledgeable with 8051 ASM would want to collaborate.
