My partner-in-crime Malc wore out the buttons on his Sequential Sixtrak, and I wore out the buttons on my MMT8.
I soldered little tiny clickyswitches across the board and snipped the pads off flush.  At a rated 250 thousand cycles per switch I dare say it'll see me out.
