Hi Guys,

I wish everybody a wonderful 2012 . And now directly to my problem :) : I've been resetting some synths that I haven't used in a while and it seems that they certainly don't like the fact that they were put on ice for so long. So I have a few synths that are causing me some headaches.
How ever let me start by telling you my first problem with my ARP2600. I am trying to disable the internal speakers as they feedback when I listen to my monitors in the studio very loudly . Now I understand that it should do this automatically as soon as you plug in the headphone jack . Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work for me and the speakers, all though very quiet, are still hooked up in the synth and now acts as a microphone giving me a feedback.
So I went ahead and disconnected the speakers just to find out that after that there was no output at all.
How do I go about using the phone jack plug and completely eliminating the speakers for good ? Or do I need a higher mute resistance in the amp section ?

Any suggestions ?

Best regards

Csaba
