[sdiy] Using D-Sub connectors as patching elements

The Tinysizer by Audio Tommy at http://www.anyware-instruments.de/ uses 3M
8500 series board mount sockets for patching. I've got a Tinysizer and using
breadboard wires like these

l?cPath=175_187 or the ones that ship with it work great and the connectors
seem to be very robust and reliable.
