I use 3 of the "daylight" CFL blub ones, they stay cool for hours on end and
give me nice, bright, "white" light.

Subject: [sdiy] Slightly OT: Workspace lighting
Hello,
Hope nobody minds me asking about this... I want to replace the lighting in
my workspace and I figured there'd be a few of you with some wisdom on it.
I have three cheap halogen lamps - one over each desk. Over the last year
I've noticed how 'coloured' the light is - very yellow. I first noticed this
while using the magnifying (fluorescent) lamp I bought for SMT work - which
has a nice, clear white light and then recently while shooting some video
using a proper photo lamp - which was much brighter and more importantly -
much whiter.
So - what recommendations for bulb/light types/brands, etc. for a nice,
bright, clean working environment.
Please keep in mind that it's mid February and I live in London - so please
keep any comments about daylight and sunshine to yourself. :)
Thanks ya!
