[sdiy] Trying to identify sound...

Hi Tom.

It comes in again at lower volume from 4:10 onwards, and does sound
like a combo organ there. There is no constant vibrato on it - check
the sustained notes at starting around 5:19 just before the shark
sneeze.

However at around 5:34 (shark on conveyer belt) there is what sounds
like quick bursts of vibrato on the end of some notes. Easy on a synth
mod wheel, but an organ player could have just as easily flicked the
VIBRATO tab on and off quickly for that effect too.

Farfisa compacts had a buzzy sound, particularly with the booster tab
added, and they were certainly around in '67. I don't know them well
enough to be more precise, as it's nearly 30 years since I got my hands
on one.....

Hope you nail it, and happy Xmas!

Cheers,
Dave
