[sdiy] dsPIC resources??

I did a little project based on the '802 a few years ago which is
documented here:
http://ebrombaugh.studionebula.com/synth/dsPIC_adac/index.html
There's a C language skeleton project there that demonstrates the use of
the on-chip ADC and DAC peripherals to make a 2-voice sawtooth VCO, as
well as some code for the UART, SPI and I2C ports that is stubbed out.
It's not the prettiest code in the world, but it works and shows some of
the basics of getting things set up and running.
As noted in other replies, the best documentation is to get the full
reference manual set and programmers reference manual from the Microchip
site. When I'm coding dsPIC projects I always have the both the chip
datasheet and the programmer's reference open, with occasional
references to the full reference manual and appnotes for details that
are glossed-over in the chip datasheet. As far as I'm aware there are no
really good 3rd-party books on the dsPIC.
