[sdiy] dsPIC resources??

The documents you really need to look at are:

1. The device datasheet for the specific details of your particular part,
2. The dspic 33F family reference manual,
3. The dspic 33f programmers reference manual

Between these three docs there's probably well over a thousand pages, but these
cover all of the instruction set, the device architecture, and the special
function registers you need to drive the device.

You can obviously never memorise them all, but it helps to glance through all
three so you know where to look when you need to know something quickly. For
instance setting up the ADC is described in the family reference manual. The
amount of RAM your device has, and its supply voltage ranges are in the device
datasheet, and the finer pointes of the MAC instruction are covered in the
programmers reference manual.

I'd also recommend looking at examples like Seb Francis' DSPIC code if you want
to see how to write something productive that will assemble and get you going
quickly. Be prepared for a steep learning curve though, DSP coding is not the
easiest of tasks due to a lot of jargon used.

Good luck,

-Richie,
