I only received this message and one other.

How long have you been on Gmail? Gmail doesn't usually pass the same
message back through because their severs consider it to be an unnecessary
duplicate. IOW, it doesn't send you your post to the list so you can't tell
if it went through or not.

You can't turn it off. This is supposed to be a feature, not a bug. You
tell me.
