I've used them in the past.  Quite reasonable.

Not sure why you're suspicious though.  If you're looking at buying lots 
of them then I'd suggest looking at Mouser, who stock the BI 
Technologies P160KN series 16mm pots.  Their 25+ price beats Rapid's 50+ 
price and you have more choices about shaft types, etc.
