Absolutely!

Another advantage of the cord grip/cable gland is that it's a
real "piece of cake" to make the proper chassis hole, a Greenlee
knockout punch for 1/2" electrical conduit (actual hole diameter
7/8 inch) gets the job done in minutes.

Whereas with the Heyco type, you often need a properly sized
double-D shaped hole....make the hole too small, and you end
up mashing the cable grip trying to pound it into the hole
(hope you got a spare).....make the hole a wee bit too large,
and your "secure" cable anchor flops around like a half-dead fish.

Whereas a round hole precisely made with commonly available tools 
is simplicity itself.....
