Hi Justin,

The most likely explanation is that you are using a divide by 10 probe.

Divide by 10 probes are widely used because they place on the system you
are testing a DC load of 10 Meg ohms rather than the scope's normal 1
Meg ohm impedance.  Capacitance is also reduced by about a factor of 10.
