Cool - I can get some from RS or wait a couple of weeks for samples from
Linear Systems.
No, not cheap... But that's not the end of the world in this case.
Oh - looks like there are the TI UCC284 & UCC384 - 500mA again..
Hmm - I should check the LM2991 actually - think I picked a few up recently.
