[sdiy] "Expression Pedal" output protection?

Reading the recent thread on protecting external inputs/outputs made
me wonder if I should have any sort of protection scheme on my output
jacks that are intended to go out to expression pedals?

These are stereo 1/4" jacks, intended to be connected to a foot
controller with a pot in it (usually from 25k - 100k) where the sleeve
goes to one end of the pot, ring goes to the other, and the tip goes
to the wiper.

Right now internally I have the sleeve grounded, the ring going to
+15V through a 22k resistor, and the tip coming back through a 100k
resistor and into the noninverting pin of an op-amp.
