Locating your studio within 50ft of Niagara Falls might be a noise simulation option...
Just because BBDs may be a good choice for TZF, does not mean they don't suck...

Is there a good model for BBD noise+distortion that could be emulated digitally?
I've never seen one - but that could be because an accurate model might not be trivial.
