They should be ! An SOIC8-DIP8 adapter is $0.35 at Futurlec,
$5.25 at Epboard. The Epboard adapter is also quite a bit wider
and will not fit if there are tall components around. At that
price, do they come with pins ? I can't tell from the 57 x 60
photo on the web site.
