I think that's the whole point of no-clean flux. It's not going to upset 
things if you leave it there.

However, I have aesthetic objections to it - especially with the nice 
purple soldermask on my boards - so will be trying Fluxclene as Colin 
suggested originally.

I should point out though that boards in a few of my designs will be 
visible, being in art projects.
