[sdiy] (OT?) FEEDBACK as a topic in electronics, music, science, etc?? BOOKS?

Steve Reich (IIRC) did a feedback piece where he had a microphone mounted
under a speaker that was on a pendulum.  As the pendulum brought the speaker
in proximity of the mic it created feedback.  This was the instrument for
the composition.  Your call if it was musical or artistic :-)
