Hmm. Haven't spun it up for ages. Will try it myself.

Sound very useful.

I was thinking that maybe one could convince some manufactuer to use 
some spare capacity in one of the "analog" processes for this hobbyists 
type of learning project. Most of the stuff we want to do was not even 
advanced 30 years ago, it was just well designed. It would be fun if it 
could be made to work, but is a lucid dream.
