[sdiy] PCB/Schematic software

Hey,

I moved to DipTrace after you recommended it Tom, I fount the
component making so much easier to manage, it was so quick I even
whipped up my own resistor footprints. plus the basics (all I use) are
just as good as eagle (DRC, export etc)

I got sick of schematic back-annotation - I just make a separate
schematic and print it out then use a highlighter - I find it much
more systematic. That way I build it as it comes and I can limit long
traces much earlier on, rather than the nightmare of dumping a
schematic net onto a PCB and getting a nest!
