Do I detect another Oren?!?
Hard to tell without more details.
Intermittent solder connection, or contamination (i.e. battery leakage),
on the board maybe?
It's been a number of times I've fixed mystery problems by simply
reheating (reflowing) the PCB solder connections.
I really can't think of much else that would break the Moog ladder filter.
