My 2 pence worth -
Anything that's unobtainiuim these days or relatively expensive/hard to
find, for example;
* almost any of the CEM chips and early SSM synth chips, (synth
sub-circuits on a single IC)
* LM3280, LM3080 or CA3080, (OTAs)
* Top-octave divider ICs
* SAD1024, TDA 1022 and other discontinued BBD ICs eg. MN3005 etc
* uA726, LM394, SSM2110, 2SC1583, 2SA798, (transistors and matched
pairs)
* some early transistors (particularly germanium) are very sought after
by the guitar stomp-box community. Synth builders making clones of
early synths (eg VCS clones etc) often like to track down the exact
original transistor.
cheers,
Dave
