No LPF or you won't be able to look for parasitic oscillations.
Haven't got around to it yet, but I got a thin ethernet cable
with the idea of cutting it in the middle and soldering two
jack sockets and two banana sockets to each end. One for the
source, one for feeding the signal to a VCO, monitor,
voltmeter...
Maybe make a thin wide box for it and attach it to the underside
of the scope. Less strain on the cables, less mess on the bench.
Space left for a few utility circuits like a voltage source, a
simple signal generator or a piezo speaker (it's a CRT scope).
