Although I've only scratched the surface of it, Osmond for MAC has done
wonders to help me lay out perfboard builds.
It's simple and easy to use, and I know others have successfully used
it throughout the whole process. I like the way you can freely lay
things out, and change your mind, without having to edit or refer to a
linked schematic or netlist. Not sure if this is a common feature, but
it's cool for an amateur tinkerer like me - it even runs on my
stone-age Panther OS
(and the 700-pad maximum version is free :-) )
cheers,
Dave
